Old Marathon- Which version?

So my Mom recently got an old Marathon from a friend (only used once by Grandma when her daughter and grandbaby flew into town). How do I figure out which style it is in order to buy a new cover? It says Marathon on it and here is a picture of the model number- but I can't seem to figure out of its model. I figure it doesn't say CS on it, and it has a rear facing weight of 35 pounds according to the manual so its just a regular Marathon? I just want to be sure that the cover will fit before I buy it.

Have you been through the used car seat check list for this seat? http://www.cpsafety.com/articles/usedseat.aspx

If you have and your seat is safe to use, your seat is the Classic Marathon.

Thank you for the link to that checklist, I haven't had time to go through and inspect it, I will do that before I order a new cover.

That manufacture date would be a 35lb rf/65 lb ff Marathon. Acceptable covers would be any of the Marathon 65/Classic, Roundabout 50/Classic, or even Decathlon covers.

BTW, Britax had a bunch of old style covers for around $20 recently.
