Radian in Odyssey

How easily does the Diono Radian RXT install in the captain's chair of a 2013 Honda Odyssey with leather seats *using a seatbelt install* with or without the AA?

With the new 2014 LATCH limits, if I can't get a seatbelt install with the Radian, I might as well get a different seat. A 65lb limit - 27 lb seat only gives me 38 lbs of functional RF time. If that's the case, I'd just get a TFP for half the price.

I had no issues with installing it in our 2012 Ody with the seatbelt. You'll definitely want the AA if you want to have any leg room. We currently have it installed on the multifunction seat with latch. The radian appears to be incompatible on the multifunction seat unless you use the AA because it leaves a gap between the radian and the vehicle seat back.

I wasn't happy with the install I got with the seat belt on the cap's chair, so we're using LATCH with a 25lb passenger. I loved, loved, loved the Radian in our old car, an 07 Saturn Outlook. Took 5 minutes to put it in, perfect angle on its own... It is not so easy in the Ody compared to that. Personally, I'm not convinced the Radian is the best seat for the Ody. Do you already have one? If so, you can make it work, but if not the Truefit might be worth a try.

I haven't tried the Radian in the 8th seat sine the AA arrived. I might need to go try it out there...
