New, improved RAV 4

I've been watching the lame commercials tonight. What I am wondering is if they fixed the overlapping seatbelt issue. Does anyone know?

The seatbelt still comes from the roof and I know that the seat itself is wider and more flat but I'm not sure if it still overlaps.

I'm taking my car in for service this weekend so I will check it out.

The center rear seatbelt definitely still overlaps, and the owners manual says that if you have a car seat in the left seat, nobody is permitted to sit in the center. So 3 across is totally out.

If that weren't enough, the manual specifies that the seat must be adjusted to "the 8th lock position from the fully reclined position." Which is really hard/impossible to find, and there's no way to tell if you've got it right. And takes out of play using the recline to easily tension the installation.
I don't recall either of these official restrictions in previous Rav4's. I also cut my finger on something razor-sharp next to an outboard lower LATCH anchor. And am still bleeding.

Creativity points to Toyota for new and interesting ways to make car seat installation difficult.
