$279, some sort of nondescript brown/taupe color.

Anyway, no pics, probably it's on the website, but there it was in the store today.

What's with the chest clip?! You have to move a little something for RF vs FF?

I should have multi-quoted... I'm pretty sure the chest clip has 2 positions, the tighter one for smaller babies and the wider setting for big kids.

It looks like you just push it in farther for RF so it keeps the straps closer together

Thanks for posting--I went to BRU & Target on Saturday and neither store had it. I'm glad for the heads up, looks like I'm going back to Target!

Is the wider setting allowed RF for bigger kids?

No, inner setting is only one allowed for rf per Chicco. But it isn't a problem so far for my 2 yr old. He is 31lbs and 37.25" and loves this seat! But we have the pretty Gemini one from bru.

Thanks for the clarification! I am so annoyed that none of our BRUs are carrying the seats. I was told at the store that it is only at stand alone BRUs, not at the BRU/TRU side by sides here :thumbsdown:

My son can push it into the RFing position. He hasn't been able to move it from RFing to FFing. He'll be 3 in July and only mentioned the harness bothering him once when I asked him about it. Since then he hasn't brought it up. We've had the seat for over a month and love it.

I posted here about a week ago after seeing the NextFit in one of my local Targets. Since then I've been to about 6 Targets and only seen it in 2 total. Only 1 of those hadit out of the box on display.

So if you do a search for the car seat at local stores and it says "out of stock", don't assume they HAD them and are just out of stock leaving a floor model to see. It could be very disappointing to drive 50 minutes away and not be able to play with a car seat. Just saying!! My dd needed to get some curtains at Pier1, so the trip wasn't a total waste, but still....I'll go to the other nearby Target the next time I go into town. And yes, I live out in the sticks, so 50 minutes away is nearby!!
