I wonder what it looks like when you take out the insert? I'm guessing boring black, except that little patch on the headrest.

eta: uh, yep. Second picture. The orange is pretty much only on the insert that is only good for kids small enough to still rear face.

One of the pictures shows it with the insert removed and it's just the patch on the headrest :thumbsdown:

I wish they would keep the seat pattern the same as the insert pattern. I feel like people will keep the inserts in because they want more color.

I agree, I thought the orange was cool, but the little tiny patch on the headrest alone looks silly.
