I seriously thought I LOVED this seat. Now that it's here... I'm just not in love. I hate how difficult it is to swap from rf to ff mode (maybe it's just me after being spoiled by my blvd). The harness covers are ridiculous. And 3 of the 3 year Olds have almost outgrown it ff already and have long outgrown it rf.

The above photo is the highest rf position. The app kept crashing so i wasn't sure if it would post.

And now it's crashing every time I try to post a photo so the rest will have to wait.

Eta weird it posted even though it crashed. The duplicate photo is where his noggin hits rf on the headrest in highest allowable rf position. The first is the highest position ff.

Wow you must have large three year olds considering the highest harness is 17" which is about what the radians are too.

I'll have to get a more recent picture but he's on the second to top slots rf in a radian and about half way between the second to top and top slots while rf. He's pretty wiggly to measure torso but I seem to get between 15 inches and 15.5 inches. He's also got a pretty good size noggin. I have to measure how close he is to outgrowing the rn rf but it's pretty close.

Hmm, I was going to order one for my 5 month old.. what don't let you like about the harness covers? Are they too long? Also, can you describe the cover fabric or compare it to a cover it's similar to on another seat? The covers look weird to me in the pics I've seen online, but maybe it's just the pics. Thanks!

The harness covers are just long and thick. I had to make sure I pushed them all the way up on issy or they pushed the chest clip too low. The texture of the fabric is kind of weird. I'll have to think about what I could reference it to. The headrest is a soft jersey type feeling as is the infant insert. The cover is more like a canvas type feeling. It looks like it would get snagged easy but I've heard and read here that people don't really seem to have a snagging issue.

Here's issy. She's 19 months, 20/21lbs and depending on the brand still fits comfortably in most 6-9 month clothes but typically romps around in 9-12 month clothes.

I'm sorry you're not liking it :( I really love ours. The fabric is really easy to clean, that's a plus for me. I took off the harness covers, a little bummed about it, but ds3 is in a cast for scoliosis and I put the harness on top the cast straps over his shoulders and with the harness covers it was way too much, he couldn't turn his head at all. It's so much easier to get him and out of than the blvd70 and he's always asleep within 5 minutes of getting into the car. I need to see what harness setting he's on.

Why do you think the Peg is easier to get your son out of? Is it shallower? Sides lower? We have a BLVD 70 and it's annoying to use because of how deep it is.. I read on another thread that someone said the BLVD was almost identical to the Peg though, so I was hesitant to buy it if that was the case. So you think they're different? Thanks!

I'll have both installed in my van tomorrow and can take comparison photos.
