CCO 36" or 1" rule?

Am I reading the CCO manual right? I can't actually find any 1" rule, just a 36" total height rule. Do we have any word from Combi on that? Mine's the old version, if that matters.

My something like 33" 9 month old is edging up in the shell, and I'm approaching that annoying point where he looks like he's either 1" or 3" from the top.

I asked Vera, the Combi rep, about the 1" rule (because I had hoped it could be used longer). She said that it was an omission from the manual but should be followed.

Got it. So I don't get an exemption from checking every time the kid gets in the seat. Blah. Why are children so darn compressible?

It's wholly possible he'll hit 1" and 36" at exactly the same time.

DS hit the 1 inch mark about 6 months ago and measured 36 inches at the doctor earlier this week.

Mine will hit 36" long before 1". I wish it didn't have the height limit because we LOVE the CCO.

DD is 2y4m, 30lbs, and is 35.5" and was right at 1" a week ago when I sold the Cco to a friend.

Love the CCO! My DD hit the 1" mark around 32". Combi needs to come out with a big brother to he CCO for ERFing! That would be my dream seat.
