Yuba Bicycles Recalls Mundo Cargo Bikes Due to Injury Hazard. Sold at
Bicycles dealers nationwide and by Yuba Bicycles online from May 2011 through December 2012 for about $1099.

Magura USA Recalls Bicycle Hydraulic Disc Brakes Due to Collision Hazard. Sold at Bicycle retailers and distributors in the U.S. between January 2011 and March 2013 for between $269 to $379.

tc electronic Recalls Bass Guitar Amplifier Due to Electrical Shock Hazard. Sold at Music and instrument stores nationwide and online from August 2012 through January 2013 for about $450.

Aqua Lung Recalls Buoyancy Compensators Due to Drowning Hazard. Sold at
Sporting goods and scuba diving stores nationwide from September 2008 through September 2012 for between $460 and $700 for the buoyancy compensator with the weight pockets.

LED Light Bulbs Recalled by Lighting Science Group Due to Fire Hazard. Sold at Various retailers including hardware and lighting and electrical supply stores.

La Preferida, Inc. is voluntarily recalling 4,734 cases (56,808 cans) of La Preferida Whole Pinto Beans 29 oz. (Water & Salt). Can Code: PINTO LP, BEST BY 01/03/2015, “Time” 3003. The manufacturer’s preliminary inspection indicates 420 cans may not have been fully processed, which could result in product contamination by spoilage organisms or by pathogens, which could lead to illness if consumed. These products were distributed for retail sale nationwide from January 7, 2013 thru February 6, 2013.

FDA Warns Consumers Not to Eat Certain ProtiDiet High Protein Chocolate Dream Bars Manufactured by Pro-Amino International, Inc., Quebec, Canada. Product May Contain Salmonella. This product has been distributed in Alabama, Arkansas, California, Connecticut, Florida, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Texas, Virginia. It was also sold via the Internet.

Clinical Specialties Issues Voluntary Nationwide Recall of Avastin Unit Dose Syringes due to Potential Serious Eye Infection

Clinical Specialties is voluntarily recalling All Lots of All Sterile products repackaged and distributed by the pharmacy due to lack of sterility assurance. The recall of all sterile products is conducted in follow-up to concerns regarding practices at the site which cannot assure the sterility of the products. The expanded recall follows the firm’s initial recall of Avastin due to reports of five patients who have been diagnosed with serious eye infections associated with the use of the product.

Med Prep Consulting, Inc. is voluntarily recalling all lots of Magnesium Sulfate 2 grams in Dextrose 5% for Injection products compounded at its facility. The recall resulted from the pharmacy being notified by a Connecticut hospital, that it observed visible particulate contaminants in 50 ml bags of MAGNESIUM SULFATE 2GM IN DEXTROSE 5% IN WATER, 50ML FOR INJECTION intravenous solution confirmed to be mold.

Natura Pet Products is voluntarily recalling specific lots of dry pet food (California Natural, Evo, Healthwise, Innova brands) because it has the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella. The affected products are sold in bags through veterinary clinics, select pet specialty retailers, and online in the United States, Canada, Korea, Malaysia, Japan, Hong Kong, and Costa Rica. Product expiration dates range from 12/17/2013 – 1/2/2014. Product was distributed by Natura Pet Products between December 18, 2012 through March 15, 2013

Jones Natural Chews Co of Rockford, IL is recalling 245 boxes of Woofers (beef patties) because it has the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella. The Jones Natural Chews Woofers were distributed in AZ, CA, CO, PA, VA, and WI. They were shipped to distributors and retailers between November 1, 2012 and November 12, 2012 where they were available for purchase.
