Does anyone have issues with the latch being incompatible when FF? When I installed it in my car the latch plate ended up right on the edge of the belt path. It came loose with hardly any force when I pushed it.

Yes, in more than a few vehicles. Darned tilt-lock adjuster.

I guess I'm not doing anything wrong then. I have only used it ff with latch one other time and I was in early labor so I dont quite remember the install.

Mine is incompatible in my Toyota Sienna. I can't use LATCH RF either, because my son's foot hits the tilt buckle and loosens it all the time. I was very upset at first, but I've been installing it with a seat belt for the last 2 years. I still get annoyed if I think about how long I had him in there when it wasn't necessarily secure.

It's scarily close with my Sebring. Wonder if my new latch strap will be any different. It's on it's way from Diono now.

Haha! BTW I'm loving the car, still take the back seat! Ive got a ff radian, rf radian, frontier. Frontier is being replaced with a sgl shortly.
