2011 sienna 2nd row seats

I'm looking at a 2001 8 pax sienna. I'm wondering if you take out the 8th seat in the middle, can you push one of the captains chairs over next to the other so you make a bench? I like the option of having the 8th seat, but with young kids I think it would be very helpful to be able to create an aisle in the side instead of in the middle. I know you can just remove one of the captains chairs and use the other one and the 8th seat like a bench, but I need to put 2 RR convertibles in the front 2 seats and I've heard that you can't do that with the 8th seat in the 2011. Anyone have any experience with the 2011? I need to make up my mind tonight :eek:

I don't believe you can slide the captains chairs together. The seat tracks go front to back not side to side. You can do that in the previous gen ody though.
