Very cool. I like that booster and I will certainly want to get an extra one someday to keep as a spare in the trunk for transporting other kids.

My son is at or below the 10th percentile....if he stays that way, he will be 13 when he reaches 4' 9".

Roman is exactly 54" tall, and I let him try the seatbelt in the 2nd row of our Ody a week or two ago. He could not pass the 5-Step Test.

Yup, Karsten neither...he's 10 on Tuesday, 55 inches last I measured, and no way fitting in the captain's chair (he does pass in the rear, but with no side curtain airbags or place to rest his noggin, we all prefer the Start back there :) )

Danny is just a little over 51 inches at 8 yrs old. He actually fits in a couple of cars ( center positions of Chevy Colorado and Lincoln Continental, and rear seat of F150, but those are all REALLY short seats. On the other hand, my ex-ML has a full size Chevy van and *I* don't fit in the 3rd row at 5'5".

That's why WA state law drives me nuts! 8years OR 4'9" to be out of a booster. Last year I taught 2nd grade and not one of my students was 4'9" - even my tallest ones were several inches below that.
