I know less than 1 inch wiggle is ok

But it doesn't mean I have to like it! (I can't find a pouting smiley). My 1996 volvo sedan (solid, rock the car installs on all my seats in minutes) was in the shop today so I had seats in my parent's 2011 CRV. Couldn't get a successful seatbelt install but latch was less than in inch of movement but still sooooooo much more than in my car. Sigh.

I"m the same way, I'm not happy with anything less than rock solid installs

I've heard it said that it's possible that it isn't safer to have rock the shocks installs, but I'll be honest, it doesn't make me like it any less! :D

I knew people here would understand! Beyond the looser installs the CRV is so high its hard for me to press down on the seats to install them so its annoying. I know rock the car installs might not be safer but it still makes me happy. And the 3 year old didn't seem to like it when the seat wiggled when she grabbed it to climb in. So until there's research that says super tight installs are less safe I'm going to do what makes me happy.

I think the FR85 LBP spoiled me. That thing can not be moved when installed. It is the most solid install I have ever had.. I know the other is safe I just can not move with the seat moving at all.

I love LBP too. The whole seat just feels very secure.

My sisters van middle bench is very hard for me to get an acceptable install for some reason.

I think we're all spoiled by being here :) I have to consciously remind myself that less than 1" of movement is all that is required.
