Turbo HBB

Ok, so when I had the Turbo HBB for my DS the backs started to not stay up. Has Graco fixed the problem? I am thinking that I might get one of the new Affix ones for DD since she will start booster training soon. I owned 3 or 4 of the Turbo booster purchased between 2008 and 2010 and the backs starting failing on all of them. Graco wouldn't help me because they were not covered under warranty.

One is dd's is 2011 and the back come off easily. I just carry it differently since I know this. Does it seem easier than before?

Are talking about how the back stays on or how the headrest moves up or down?

I think it has been an isolated series of cases?? i ave one and have never had falling. One of my friends had a couple and 1 had severe falling issues. There have been threads here and there about it. Some people were able to get replacement backs, some were not. Some of the replacement backs supposedly had falling issues. I have not yet heard of any of the new affix ones having falling issues. Could just be because they are all relatively new? Or they may have fixed the problem. Sorry none of this helps you much.

The problem for me was the if you bummed the headrest it would slide back down to the lowest setting.

The Affix is a different seat. The back doesn't come off without serious effort. (I mean it converts to a LBB, but it's fully attached in HBB mode) You could definitely try it out.
