I have three children ages 4, 5, & 7 years old. I am looking into purchasing the Britax Frontier 85 so that I can have them in a five point harness for more safety. However all the you tube videos I see show that they are tethered and that the head rests must be pulled out if blocking. I have a 03 Chevy Venture mini van and my fiance has a 04 Pontiac Grand Am. I have three bucket seats in the front of my mini van and a bench in the back. I am not able to remove my head rests so I am worried they will be in the way and not allow the car seat to install properly. I also only have one bucket seat with tethers. My fiance has the Grand Am and I'm worried with the way these vehicles seats are shaped it wont allow the car seats to sit in it properly. I am also concerned about the top tether system being it is not aligned in the center but yet off to the side of each seat. I am looking for help from anyone owning these vehicles with this same car seat and if it worked in your vehicle or not... ? ... These car seats are expensive and I am finding the cheapest prices online but afraid to order online and the car seat not be compatible with our vehicles. Thanks in advance for any help regarding this situation.
