True Fit rf

Why can't they raise the rf limit??? It couldn't take that many changes to safely raise the limit. I think DD2 will be ok with it, but really, the longer we have it, the more I like it. I don't love the harness, but its ok. The new changes look nice too. If it was 40lbs rf, I bet it'd be one of the top recommended seats for tall kids if a 3 across wasn't needed.

I know, my 40lbs 40in 3.5 year old still fits in by height, and has a lot of leg room too. Grrrr, I've been tempted to e-mail them and ask why they don't have a higher RF limit.

They have been very adamant about not raising the limit, which says to me that it's really not safe past 35lbs.

I'm getting rid if my TFP now for just that reason though, DD2 hit 35 lbs and even though she fits in it height wise, it fits great in the car, and my dad can use it correctly, it's outgrown :( I'd be such a happy camper if it went to 40lbs! DD2 made it to 3y10m in it and I'm just not ready to ff her, plus I have plenty of other rf seats, so the TFP has to go.

Yeah, I know they have been, it just doesn't seem impossible. So many go to 40lbs rf, there must be ways to improve and increase. I definitely wouldn't use a current one beyond that,

DD2 is 3 and 29lbs. DD3 is a chunker and tall but hopefully she slows down like DD2 did. Otherwise NextFit here I come.
