    SlumberWorld Recalls Mattresses Due to Violation of Federal Mattress Flammability Standard Sold exclusively at SlumberWorld stores on Oahu, Maui and Hawaii Islands in Hawaii from January 2011 through March 2012 for between $170 and $640.

    Liberty Mountain Recalls Easy Go XP Lock Via Ferrata Mountain Climbing Lanyards Due to Risk of Serious Injury. Sold at Specialty climbing shops nationwide and online at Amazon.com and other internet retailers between April 2011 to August 2012 for about $120.

These tires can experience in-service belt and tread separations.

    Schmalz's European Provisions, a Springfield, N.J. establishment, is recalling approximately 8,424 pounds of "Applegate Organics Chicken and Apple Sausage" that may contain small pieces of plastic. The products were produced on January 24, 2013, and were sold in retail stores nationwide and through limited internet sales in New Jersey.

    Hy-Vee, Inc. today issued a voluntary recall of certain bags of Hy-Vee dog food due to elevated levels of a chemical contaminant commonly found in corn. The recalled products carry three different "Best By" dates and were distributed to Hy-Vee stores in Iowa, Illinois, Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska, South Dakota, Minnesota and Wisconsin between October 26, 2012 and January 11, 2013.

    Olaax Corp announced today that it is conducting a voluntary nationwide recall of the company's dietary supplement sold under the brand name MAXILOSS WEIGHT ADVANCED softgels to the user level because they contain undeclared Sibutramine. This product was distributed nationwide in US from January 2011 to November 2012.

    Affymax, Inc. (Nasdaq: AFFY) and Takeda Pharmaceutical Company Limited (Takeda) today have decided to voluntarily recall all lots of OMONTYS® (peginesatide) Injection to the user level as a result of new postmarketing reports regarding serious hypersensitivity reactions, including anaphylaxis, which can be life-threatening or fatal.

    On December 18, 2012 Ad-Tech Medical Instrument Corporation initiated a recall of 115 Macro Micro Subdural Electrodes. There is a concern the microelectrodes are not flush with the silastic surface. As a result, there is the potential for abrasion of cortical brain tissue and the existence of fractured pieces remaining in the cortical tissue when the electrode is explanted, which may result in hemorrhage or damage to cortical fibers, leading to infarct or seizure activity. Recalled Product(s) were manufactured from June 2006 to March 2012, and distributed from June 8, 2006 to March 14, 2012.
