UPS delivered to the right house and the Pria is here. It's raining, so I haven't played with it much yet, but here are a few pictures.

OH, I was expecting much more orange-y pink, but its way more purple-y.

In the house, 2 or 3 notches up is the slot she's on.

I initially put it in the car on the 2nd recline. It was crazy upright.

This is the 3rd recline. Much more reasonable. DISCLAIMER: My driveway is not level.

I'm copying and pasting from my phone, so hopefully all the pictures are in the right spots.

How was the install? The crotch pad, is it like its going to fall off the first time you use it or is it snug? Is it a short dorel crotch strap?

The install was effortless. The base is much more narrow than the seat, so it should fit in contours fairly easily. The crotch pad is nice, definitely snug. Not just a circle of fabric. It's got a small, very thin, flexible piece of plastic sewn into the bottom of the crotch pad. I don't know for sure, but I think it's to help the buckle stay forward and not get buried so easily. The crotch strap didn't seem any shorter or more difficult to buckle than the RXT. I can measure later when it isn't raining anymore.

Hmmmm I like the looks of this. I have an annoying three across, I wonder if this would work. Once I change up my car seats in the spring I might have to check it out for DD2. Thanks for the pics!

More pictures.

The bottom of the Pria and the bottom of the RXT.

Very scientific. The RXT base is about 2 inches wider.

Playing around with 3 across. A wingless Radian would have made this much easier

FF. I didn't try, but I doubt I could have gotten any of these facing opposite directions. It was pretty darn right.

Once again, on my phone. I hope everything is where it should be.

So cuuuuute!!! Your daughter is just adorable!!! :)

I was wondering which one do you prefer between the RXT and the Pria? Ease of use, ease of installation, comfort,... I'm actually looking at both to use in our T & C 2009 and also to travel on a plane...

TIA

I've only had the Pria for a day, and haven't gone anywhere, so I don't know which one I prefer yet. The Pria is more padded and cushy, lighter, easier to install, and smaller front to back.

The RXT doesn't have the 40" RF limit, has a 45lbs weight limit (Pria is 40lbs), and allows any install angle 45 degrees or less. The Pria has a 'line level to ground' line for the RF angle, and doesn't allow RF tethering.

That said, I am choosing to ignore the STRICT manufacturers instructions to discontinue after 40", and install the angle however I want, lol. Call it misuse, because it is.... But I am a rebel like that.

So if the restrictions are something you can't get past with the Pria, go for the RXT. But for me, if I could only pick one, it would probably be the Pria.
