Need Help! Honda Accord/Twins/Conv Seat

I have twin 9 month old boys who will be growing out of their Graco snugrides shortly. We have a '99 Honda Accord and thinking about Evenflo Triumph Advance or FPVD. What seats work well with a Honda Accord? My husband feels like he is sitting on the dash w/ the snugride behind the passenger side. I want to keep them rear facing as long as possible but price is a factor since I am purchasing two. Any ideas? Thanks!

Well, part of the "good" thing about RF toddlers/older infants is that they do not need a 45* angle in the car. You can install their RF convertible seats at a lesser angle (more upright). :)

I would take your car to BRU and try out seats such as the Triumph Advance and the Marathon. That will give you an idea of which ones are the best fit for your car, your children, and you. :)

Perhaps you could fit a Radian 65 in the center and a Marathon outboard on the passengers side. Then, hubby would be free to move his seat as he pleases. :D The Radian would probably be too tall outboard, but may fit thru the center. :twocents:

When DH was carshopping last year, he looked at a Honda Civic. I tried installing DDs MA in the center. It fit with both front seats all the way back. I don't see why you couldn't get a MA (or equally sized seat) outboard in either position. Especially since the Accord is bigger.

That't a good point. I drive a Civic and can easily fit a Marathon or Boulevard in any of my seating locations (even with the seats back pretty far!). The Accord is bigger. :)

:yeahthat:

We have a 99 Civic and I can fit my DD's MA in any seating posistion with a comfortable passenger in the front.
