My sister is expecting again and was planning on getting a Aton for the new little one. I am also planning on getting one hopefully down the road as we are TTC right now. The question she had was how long to expect it to last since it is a smaller seat. We both have smaller children, her youngest is 21 lbs and 31 inches at 18 months. He also has a short torso. Her new LO is measuring small as well and is expected to be around 6 lbs at birth. Anyone have experience with smaller kids in the Aton? How long did it last?

Well my GIANT baby had like several inches above her head at 6 months old and 25 ish pounds, so I would imagine it would last you a good long time with a smaller kid. It's a light seat but not a super short seat, I mean it's short for front to back room in cars but it's kind of deep? Hard to explain.
It's about half an inch shorter than the Keyfit. It will last smaller babies over a year, medium-sized babies around a year, and very large babies 6-9 months, on average.
