Do these 2 seats puzzle well?
Looking at purchasing a Radian RXT.
I have an 05 Impala and would like to put infant seat in middle and keep one outboard seat open for passengers.
TIA

I can't say for sure, but the Impala has a huge back seat so I have a feeling they will fit just fine. If possible, your FF child should ride in the middle. In ideal situations, the less protected child (FF in your case) gets the most protected seating position- the center.

I'm in agreement with putting the Radian in the center if possible - I think it will leave more room for the passenger behind the driver as well.

The impala is pretty car seat friendly. You may need to do a seatbelt install for the seat behind the passenger seat, but you should be able to fit both seats in ok.

I would put the radian center and depending on the child use the angle adjuster to make it more upright (depends on child's weight and age). I found the Radian and the SR22 puzzled well together. Let me get a pic......

this was in my Ford Taurus station wagon. BUT I do find with a lap/shoulder belt install you need to use the locking clip or the SR22 base will angle. If you use seatbelts you can put the bucket seat closer to the door, then the radian closer to the bucket thus freeing up more room for the passenger. I would recommend leaving the seat behind the driver open.

An Impala won't be needing an angle adjuster in most cases, so it's not something I would worry about. I find most of the GM vehicles I work in don't need angle adjusters.
