Well that's one way to convince DH to buy a marathon...

I told him we would get the university of Michigan one.

Nevermind that we could get one on sale for about $220. No, that cover is worth an extra $80.

This is the man who said he didn't want to buy another car seat *ever*.

Now, we just have to come up with the money. :p

It is for baby #2. Right now, we are going to use the scenera until the baby fits in the marathon, but it seems unfair to me to have one kid in a britax and one in a cosco. :p Especially since DS has peed in the cosco more than a few times.

Ah! Got it! :)

I had just read your thread about the Scenera installation a few minutes before reading this one, but I spaced out and forgot. :p Sorry about that! :)

Dangit! If only the Radian came with a Raiders cover, dh would stop cringing when I mention that I'm getting it... ;)

Actually, now that you mention it, dd would absolutely love a Raiders cover for her Husky. It'd match the car, too.

we have one kid in a YS and another in a scenera. no unfairness there. first off, they're too young to know the difference in price/perceived quality (unless they hear mommy and daddy talking about it). and second, the decisions we make are in their best interest in the long run, whether they know it or not. for us, it's all part of a master plan that will keep both kiddos safe for as long as possible.

I wish they made michigan covers for the regent. I like the idea of matching seats. DH asked if they did and I said no, but they make michigan parkways, so maybe when DS outgrows the regent and he asked why we couldn't just get one for him now. Um, I don't think so!

I know it's not exactly a reasonable thought, but it still bugs me. Plus, I just really like britax. I *hate* dealing with twisty straps mostly and the scenera does a good job of twisting when you are in a hurry and you have to spend an extra 5 minutes fixing them.
