Sounds interesting... the base looks pretty huge, though! I wonder how much overhang is allowed? The photo on the first link looks like at least 20%, but maybe more.

The handle position is such a PITA- it takes up sooo much room. I personally don't like the triangle type handle either.

It's like the olden days, when they had the LATCH-Loc and it was a cool seat (till consumer reports griped and complained it wouldn't fit in EVERY car because the LATCH wasn't flexible :p)
Is it just me, or is the grammar funny on their page. Coming *at* BRU? :D

Interesting the inertia is "more reclined" than any other seat on the market. Hmmm, really? And I've never had my babies' heads flop forward in their infant seat

I doubt this is going to change my opinion about Baby Trend, I see way too many of their handles up while I'm driving around town not to mention the huge PITA they are to install. It's cool that they are making a seat with anti rebound, I wish more manufacturers would follow but all I'm thinking is with the extra length added by the ARB and the requirement for the handle to be down this really is probably not going to fit comfortably in most cars.

I thought that initially, but the ARB looks like it goes around the seat, so it may not need any more space front-to-back. Agree with the rest, though.

Does the handle take up a lot of space when all the way down? I know when it's at the top of the shell it takes up a lot of space, but all the way down, I thought was a little better. The base looks really long though, I don't think it'll fit in small spaces so well but I guess we'll have to wait and see.

I had the 22 lb version and my problem with the handle wasn't really space, it was the hassle of remembering to put it down every time. The handle also stuck sometimes, it wasn't exactly a smooth effortless process.
