Graco pedic foam

We are still on the hunt for a booster that will work for our 7 year old in our 2010 Honda Insight.

She loved the padding in the PW SGL and I love that is LATCHes in, but it has such a big head rest she has no growing room in it, with it adjusted for her currently it is already hitting the roof.

We have been borrowing MILs TB and it has room to go to its highest setting.

I am going to give up my want of LATCH and am now wondering what TBs are currently out that have the Graco Pedic foam. She doesn't have any natural padding, so I can understand her wanting it in a booster.

We are planning a 430 mile each way trip in a month or two, so comfort is important!

None of the new TB's (or the TB clones) have the Graco Pedic foam :( I dont even think Graco uses it for any of their seats anymore.

You snuck that in while I had the window open to write back about the affix.

That is too bad, I was really hoping there was some graco pedic foam to be had. That does explain why I was having no luck in my search.

Recaro Vivo? The headrest on the Vivo fits the same in dh's car as the HBTB. The PWSG and Monterey cannot adjust all the way up in his car because of the shape but the Vivo can go most of the way up and the HBTB can go all the way up. The Vivo can go as tall as the HBTB and a little further, it is just a taller seat and cannot go to the final "click." I don't know how it would fit in your car though.

I wonder if you could find a cheap CL seat that does have the pedic foam in it and just take the foam out to put in a new TB. The seats are the same, only difference is the piece of memory foam that hooks to the seat (I know 'cause I did just this with mine).

Or, you could try to find the model number of an old TB with the foam and search Graco for a replacement part piece of foam.

ETA: Nevermind. I just found this model on Amazon: 8673FIR and Gracobaby.com doesn't come up with replacement foam.
