He's 5 and nowhere near booster ready. He's 43" and 36#. He's currently in a Recaro Euro which he still has tons room. But......when any part of the child's head extends above the shell it requires head support. And no way can I install it with the vehicle headrest on. And hey, any excuse to get a new seat ;)!!!

I have no idea what to get. DS2's requirements are a cupholder and PINK. I'm thinking a FR85 or a GN.

Budget, well I will need to sell the Euro to pay for it. We have the money but I need to replace it KWIM? So maybe $200? I was also thinking the mysize, headwise, or size4me but when I've played with it, I have trouble tightening it.

It doesn't have to be a combo that turns into a booster, I imagine I'll want to get a dedicated booster when the time comes. I don't seem to keep seats for very long, I'm always getting the new seat itch. :D

Oh, and no evenflo seats. Continuous harnesses and I DON"T get along.

Nautilus in valerie, Michelle or Maura. Michelle is a nice deep fucsia with balck and gray (not sure if it is pink enough for him) . I don't think the headwise /mysize /size4me come in pink yet. Frontier would put you over the $200 budget but Livia is pretty deep pink.

At 43" tall, I'd look at the Frontier, but maybe my kids have long torsos. The livia is gorgeous and feels really nice and it has 2 really nice easily accessible cup holders. We love ours. It's right around your $200 budget at $209.98 on amazon right now. Now I'm tempted to buy another one. :D
