Erf tiny 4 year old with Down Syndrome

My son is 4.5 years old 28-30lbs, 34 inches tall and tousle height if 14-15 inches. I want to keep him rear facing without a extremely wide seat. Please help.

What is your budget? How much longer do you want him RF? Have you looked at the Radian or the Foonf?

What about the graco seats? The size4me70/mysize70/headwise70? They are really tall with a 40lb rf limit.

A Foonf would be a bit over your budget ($400-$500). You can get a Radian for under $300 (The RXT and R120 rear face to 45lbs, the R100 does so to 40lbs) and it is a narrow seat that offers a lot of leg room for older kids. The size4me70/mysize70/headwise70 is slightly taller than a Radian but offers less leg room.
