Compact child/booster car seat for truck - Canada

Hi,
I am looking for a child/booster car seat for the back seat of a dodge diesel extra cab. There is not much room in the back and the bench backrest is not very high. So I am looking for a compact child/booster seat. My son is almost 4 but weighs only 32lbs and is 40''tall. Thank you.

Do you have top tethers in your back seat? You would if your truck is 2000-ish or newer, or they can be retrofitted if the truck is older, but you must have that ready to use and know how to route the tether. Instructions should be in your vehicle manual.

With a child that size you would do very well with either the Evenflo Maestro, Graco Nautilus, or Evenflo SecureKid 300 or 400. Some details on them are here but note that the Maestro weight has been raised to 50lbs on brand new models appearing at Walmart.
