I was just about to head up to Babies R Us to trade in for an Affix and a new question popped into my head. Is it okay to use it without LATCH, also? It would normally be latched in a captain's chair, but when I occasionally move it to the third row, it can't be latched (one set of offset LATCH). The only other LATCHable booster we've used was the Nautilus and that was fine either way, and all my others don't have latch anyway. Thanks!

Sure, you don't have to use the KLTCH, just make sure you buckle it in when not in use so it doesn't become a projectile 
Ok I bought it! Took me two hours, two stores, three guest service visits and one manager chat, but I got it for $51. I gotta say, the experience is losing a little of the fun of the new seat for me right now. Looks great in my Sienna. Kids are sleeping, so I can't even test anyone out in it yet!
