Question Rear impact crash testing video

Are there any videos out there that anyone knows of that show forward vs rear facing in a rear impact crash?

I don't know of videos but we do have some pretty compelling stories and first hand accounts from members here.

Yeah I've seen a few of those (the one with the twins stands out to me). I'm mostly just curious because in a thread on Facebook someone mentioned a video she saw on YouTube comparing the two (with rf coming out favorably, or at least not worse, as she was very pro-extended rf), but I've searched and not come up with anything. (And she never returned to the thread with a link or anything.)

Like I said, I'm just curious about the video(s) she referenced as I haven't ever seen them myself and I'd like to see them if they exist. That story you linked is the twin one I've seen, thank you!

Never seen one like that. Only routine car seat rear-impact test that I can think of is ECE R44/04 certification testing, but I don't think those videos are available to public.

If it's a federal crash test, they'd have to be available if someone filed a Freedom of Information Act request for them.
