Should I get a TB?

I saw on another thread that the highback TB is on sale at Target this week ($35). Should I get one for dd? She's 6.5, 46-ish pounds, and has never ridden in a booster. Her primary seat is a ProSport (harness mode). When she moves to a booster full-time, we'll either use the PS as a booster or get a dedicated booster, maybe the ProBooster... not sure.

Anyway, I'm just thinking that it might make sense to have a dedicated booster on hand for dh's car, or if she is going somewhere with a friend (though that hasn't happened yet), or whatever. Right now I have a backup harnessed seat for each kid, but one of our seats expires in March, we're having another baby in April/May, AND I think dd will soon outgrow all the backup seats (if she hasn't already).

Thoughts? (As if I don't know what to expect from this carseat-addiction-enabler board...) :)

Do it! Not only can you move it to DH's car or send it for a carpool booster, it's always a good thing to have a spare booster if you drive one of her friends.

Thanks guys! Guess we're joining the ranks of the booster-owning families! It somehow feels very momentous. :)

I'm excited to hear there's another 6 yo out there who hasn't ridden in a booster yet. :D We bought a Turbo when it was on sale figuring it will be a good travel seat and spare.

Definitely. It's DS' second car/spare seat and I like knowing that his friends' parents can properly install it. ;) (He knows how the belt should be routed, too.) It's also useful when I'm picking up one of his friends. And I don't mind letting him ride with Grandma with the booster, either.
