So, I was test driving a 2012 Ford Focus today (Canadian). I decided to peruse the manual for LATCH info. This is what one of the paragraphs read:
"Once the child safety seat has been installed using either the safety belt, or the lower anchors of the LATCH system, or both, you can attach the top tether strap."
Does this strike anyone else as odd? Is a mistake or actually permissible in certain scenarios?
I'm just trying to imagine a non-tech parent reading this and then installing the seat wrong but correct according to the vehicle manufacturer's instructions.
