Has anyone had any experiences installing any type of Britax carseat in a Jeep Cherokee? I am researching carseats before buying/replacing for my granddaughter. Thx. in advance.

In a Blazer, yes.... Fits just fine rear-facing & forward-facing. In the rear-facing position I secured the LATCH to the bars under the seats as per both manuals -- always read through your car manual & the seat manual 
Also, try to test the seat out in your car before buying, if possible [or save the receipt in case you need to exchange/return] & check to see how your child fits in the seat as well! Before we got the Wizard, my daughter had a couple seats that either didn't fit our car just right or the straps did not lay where they're supposed to on her body [the buckle of her last seat was up high on her belly]. *HTH*
