BBU, Inc., the parent of the Bimbo Bakeries companies, has initiated a voluntary recall due to possible presence of fragments of metal caused by a faulty manufacturing part. Recalled products are the following fresh bagels with "Best Buy" dates (month and day) "JAN 18" to and including "JAN 27"found on the lock tab bag closures. Thomas' Begels sold in AL, FL, GA, TN. Sara Lee Deluxe Bagels sold in AL, FL, GA, LA, MS, NC, SC, TN. Publix Premium begals sold in AL, FL, GA., SC, TN. Weight Watchers 6 Original Bagels sold in AL, FL, GA, NC, SC, TN.

Annie's Inc. (NYSE:BNNY) has initiated a voluntary recall of Annie's Homegrown Frozen Pizza due to the possible presence of fragments of flexible metal mesh caused by a faulty screen at a third-party flour mill. All varieties of Annie’s RISING CRUST FROZEN PIZZA with a best by date including and between 09Jan13 and 14Sep13 (January 9, 2013 and September 14, 2013) are affected.

ConAgra Foods, Omaha, Neb., is voluntarily initiating a product recall for specific lots of its 8 ounce Hunt's Tomato Sauce (regular variety) and Hunt's Tomato Sauce No Salt Added that were packaged in cans containing a defect in the inner lining. The product was shipped to U.S. retail food stores and distributors in Arizona, California, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, New Mexico, Nevada, Oregon, Texas, Utah, Washington and Wyoming.

Knott's Fine Foods, Inc. of Paris, TN, is voluntarily recalling its 3 ounce Chicken Salad Sandwiches with an expiration date of 1/29/13 and earlier because they have the potential to be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes. he recalled Chicken Salad Sandwiches were distributed in West Tennessee, Western Kentucky and North Mississippi in 35 retail stores.

LJD Holdings, Inc., doing business as B and D Foods, a Boise, Idaho establishment, is recalling approximately 33,500 pounds of fully cooked meat and poultry products (ROYAL “THE TEMPURA KING” ROYAL TEMPURA CHICKEN, BLINGS! CHICKEN BREAST WITH PARMESAN FLAVORING, STEAKHOUSE TEMPURA SEASONED BEEF & BINDER STRIPS, KETTLE COOKED CHICKEN BREAST PIECES, FULLY COOKED PORK STRIPS) due to possible contamination with Listeria monocytogenes. This product was distributed to foodservice and/or institutional customers in Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Ohio, Oregon, Utah and Washington.

These products were produced between Dec. 4, 2012, and Dec. 10, 2012, and distributed to a restaurant in Macomb County, Mich., and sold directly to consumers at Gab Halal Foods.

Stallings Head Cheese Co., Inc., a Houston, Texas establishment, is recalling 4,700 pounds of Richard's Hog Head Cheese that may be contaminated with Salmonella. The products subject to recall were produced on November 1, 2012, and December 19, 2012. The products were shipped to a distribution center for retail distribution in Louisiana and Southeastern Texas.
