SIP seems better on boosters?

After seeing those sip videos I started looking at the head wings on convertibles vs boosters and most of the boosters have much bigger head wings. Why is that? What about combo seats they even seem lacking. I think we'll need the height of the frontier but I'd like more sip at the head.

Maybe because with a harnessed seat there is less forward movement so the head/body stays contained more?

No idea if that's really the reason, that's just thefirst thing that popped into my head.

That is also my guess. A 5 point harness already provides sip.

Makes sense, but even in the videos there is a lot of forward movement in a side collision. I would love to see head wings of a Monterey on a radian!

Really? I think almost every booster I've seen has no real visible SIP. So I guess I found the total opposite, lol! There are some that have more, but none, in my opinion, that have enough.

I think the combo seats have a decent amount (we have the Prosport and use it as a booster when the harness gets outgrown).

I do see a lot of carseats on the market with no real visible SIP, and almost nothing as far as headwings, etc.
