My son is 48lbs and 44" tall and turned 4 last month.
He is no where near being ready for a booster, even for short rides. I expect that he will need to stay harnessed for, well, I don't know how much longer. He has SPD and actually enjoys his harness (the pressure reassures him I think) as well as having poor motor planning/issues. He cannot sit still, slumps in his seat and still falls asleep.
He is almost even with the top slots of his XTSL, MR and probably his TR (I haven't checked it recently...) He rides in a Frontier in my car, the rest are in The Husband's car and grandparent's cars.
I need to replace the XTSL, MR and TR. He rides in each seat several times a week back and forth from home to school, so I'm looking at replacing 3 car seats within a short time frame.
Are there any other options besides the Frontier to consider? Thanks!
