Kids:
G-9 years old Boostered in a Nautilus - 63 lbs
C-8 years old Boostered in a Parkway SG - 55 lbs
M-5 years old Harnessed in a Nautilus - 42 lbs
My in laws have a 05 Grand Caravan, and we often try to use one vehicle when we can the third row center is a lap belt only and has a head rest. I want to be able to get the kids in three across with them as comfotable as possible.
So what size RSTV would you get and which kid/s would you use it for?
I want to use Highbacks for the out board kids and also have a radian for either of the younger two can fit in. I have tired lots of combos and I really think for the long run that a RSTV would help.
I have done a radian middle with two lite riders for short trips and I have to climb back and buckle everyone as it is so tight. I don't think I can get much more narrow. I also need this to be a long term thing that will work for the next 2 + years. until someone gets a newer van with three belts back there or my daughter gets big enough to sit back there without a seat.
Funny thing to note is my kids all have almost the same torso size. I also am comfortable using the radian over the tops slots. It does not faze me if the manufacturer is that sure of their seat I will use it if I need it.
