Rfing Brirax in a Peterbuilt

I've yet to come across a seat that doesn't fit in the front of a semi. Rear seats can be a bit tricky, depending on the seat but most trucks don't have them. I've put a rfing blvd, efta, graco infant seat, AOE, cco in the front of multiple trucks with no issues and the blvd installed great.

If you don't do the answer I have a Peterbuilt dealer about mile away and I can ask if they will let me do a test install.

Does the passenger seat have airride? You're going to want to let the air out if it does until it is as low to the floor as it goes. If it has an airbag make sure it is turned off also. Then it's a pretty straight forward install, you're going to want to use the built in lock offs on the seat. Off the top of my head I don't know if there's anywhere to rear tether in a pb, I haven't been in one in years. If you need pics, you should be able to search here for them, I posted a bunch several years ago in a kenworth w900.

Sorry it took do long to reply.

I have a marathon 70 and it's big. In certain vehicles it moves around too much rear facing to be safe. Ie: cousin's minivan. Anyone know if bigger rear facing seats move a lot in the big trucks? Any ideas of how to secure it further? I don't want him forward facing if I can help it.
Also, do y'all have kids under 2 yo that ride along for long hauls? DH is an OTR trucker and finally has insurance that'll allow our son to ride along. I just don't see him enjoying it for more than a couple hours. I miss my husband, but not enough to make my son miserable.

The best way I install my sons marathon is to pick up the car seat cover from back to front so the cover is pushed toward the seat back. Then I stand behind the seat and push down. Pull the seat belt through. Tighten and then use the lock off the keep it in place!

It's a lot easier to watch their install videos on YouTube :)

I used to ride long haul with my dad and I loved it. Just being with him when he was gone so often made it worth it. I was about 5ish though.
