What is the latch rule on a 2008 Hyundai Sante Fe? Also the mini vans, we are renting a minivan at the end of the month but I do not know what brand it will be and they never have the manual in the car.

May be used to the weight limit specified by the CR manfacturer for all parts.

Wow - I just saw the other thread. I'm so tired of things getting nearly impossible for the average parent to keep up with. :(

Honda Odyssey? 2005-2010 models.

Maybe be used for child up to 40 lbs for all parts.

When I say all parts, I mean:

LATCH OR
Lower anchors alone OR
TA use with a seat belt

Couple of questions:

Does it specify whether or not these changes (especially the retroactivicity) apply to Canadian vehicles?

Caravan is 65 combined weight for all parts, right? A radian is what 30lb? So effectively my Radian has a 35lb limit? and my Sam is 34lb...

Forward facing, it'll be useless, unless I tether above manufacturer's specs.

Off to find out how much a frontier weighs!

2008 Lexus RX350?

And just for clarification, to make sure I understand... "child-plus-CR weights up to 65lb" does mean if the seat weighs 20lb, the child can only weigh 45lb or less?

Yes, exactly. So the Foonf, RFing, weighs 38.6 lbs. In my car, the limit is 65 lbs child + seat. 65 - 39 = 26 lb child.

Ok, Lexus.

May be used up to the weight limit specified by the CR manufacturer for all parts.

And one more question that might be a "duhhh" one: where would I find the LATCH limits set by the CR manufacturer? I'm skimming my Pria manual right now but not seeing anything about a limit to when you must stop using LATCH. Just weight limits for what direction to face the seat.

Therein lies the rub...;)
