I'd like a Coccoro in a Large, please

During my recent car seat search, I think I tried just about every seat under the sun and each one had something about it that just wasn't quite right. The install was terrible, the harness adjuster was stiff, the buckle was too hard, not enough SIP, too big, too wide, too heavy, etc. As I was loading my little guy into his CCO I was thinking, why isn't there a large CCO? I really think it is the perfect seat and I will be sad when he grows out of it. It is lightweight but has good SIP. It is compact but seems to have good legroom. The buckle and harness are so smooth and dreamy. Why can't I just put it in a magical machine and plus-size it?

I am hoping the NextFit fits the bill for when my boy is out of the beloved CCO. Is there another seat out there I haven't tried that is like a large CCO?

Cue dramatic sigh of lament...

I've been wondering if I could obtain a Roundabout 40 for my grand baby. OR - I could 'store' your Coccoro for you when you're done with it.:)

Thanks for your generous offer, but my daughter has already claimed it for her baby dolls when her brother is too big for it. Her babies took lots of rides in it before he was born and she wants it back.

I feel the same way! But there might be hope... A few months ago there was a blog post from the ABC expo and they mentioned the Combi MGT prototype. In Japan it's called the Malgott and goes up to 70 pounds. It looked super comfy. I'm curious if it will come to the US and how it compares in size to the Coccoro.

They had the avatar years ago so they are capable of making a nice, full sized convertible. I wouldn't say it was lightweight but it was a dream to install and pretty similar to the cco in alot of ways.
