Question Cover for Evenflo Embrace 5?

Found in storage our old Evenflo Embrace 5 bucket seat. Cut the harness, though I'm keeping the buckles for other non-car-seat uses (backpack, play) and threw out the seat as its expired. But I kept the cover, including the infant padding & canopy. This seat was part of a travel system - I am still using the stroller.

Wondering if this cover fits any current Evenflo seat? I don't want to throw it out if someone would find it useful as a spare. I don't even want any money for it, just want it to go to good use, if it can be used.

In the meantime, I'll hang on to it until I know if its worth listing on kijiji.

Thanks,
Melissa

Did you have an embrace from when it couldn't be installed without the base? I'm going to guess that that cover wouldn't fit quite right on to the newer seats without covering the belt guides if that's the case.

Otherwise I'm really not sure. I know Evenflo used to use the number to differentiate between 3pt and 5pt harness models, but I don't know if the Embrace has ever had any minor changes made to the slot heights or crotch buckle position. I believe that the Embrace 35 does have a different crotch buckle positioning, but I'm not familiar with what yours would've had without seeing it...

I found this: http://kids.productwiki.com/evenflo-embrace-5-deluxe/ which is the 2007 model that I had. Cover I have is a different colour. No, it could not be installed without the base (can it now?). As the seat itself is already gone to the dump, I can't take pictures or measurements from it, but I could try with the cover. Or maybe its just not worth the hassle. If you think it might not fit current seats, I'll just get rid of it. It doesn't owe me anything.

Thanks,
Melissa

Yes, it can be installed without the base now and has been able to since probably right after your's was bought I think. I don't remember exactly when the change happened, maybe somebody else does?
