Discontinued, yes possible to get a 06 DOM though.

FP booster is based on the Star Riser Comfy though, not the BG.

The BG is big and heavy. The lockoffs help support the weight so the seat doesn't crush the kid. Also good for wiggly kids because it holds the lap belt tight. Not good for switching the retractor because if the kiddo unbuckles before undoing the lockoffs the seatbelt can get stuck in the lockoff before you can grab it. Very good for kiddos that get car sick because it doesn't tip when you swerve.

It was the first SIP seat from Britax.

Oh and the whole seat is wired for sound. Built in headphones and a handy storage place to hide a cd player.

Ok, I couldn't remember if it was made at the same time as the Parkway, and I got some of the first PW's in 12/04. Still, if they want to sell those BG's before they expire, they'd better lower those prices, lol.

I thought the price was outrageously high for a 2 year old seat, too. Unfortunately, most consumers don't know about expiration dates and even those who do don't have a clue how "old" the BG is.
