Question Britax Differences

Ok, I am semi confused with all the britax seats.

For example: Marathon, Boulevard, Advocate and Pavillion. The 65 G3 version.

They all have the same shell and weight limits, correct?

What are the differences other than the names?

Well, the Marathon is the basic one, no head wings. The Advocate has the huge cushy bits on the sides. Those 2 are easy. I'm looking at Britax Canada's site right not and I can't figure out what the difference is between the Boulevard and the Pavillion. Yes, they all have the same height and weight limits.

Marathon, Boulevard, Pavilion and Advocate all RF to 40lbs and FF to 65lbs.

All 4 seats have a no re-thread harness.

Boulevard has additional head wings.

Pavilion had head wings and "Click & Safe" where you head an audible click when the harness is tight enough.

Advocate has head wings, Click & Safe and Side Impact Cushion Technology.

You also get different cover choices depending on the model.

I always explain the differences as every time you go up a price point you get something extra.

The other thing that changes when you move from the MA 65 G3 to the BLVD 65 G3 is that you get the HUGS with safe cell technology. The MA still has the original HUGS, but the BLVD and higher models now have safe cell technology in the HUGS. It makes them thicker, and they've had to change the chest clip - you can't loosen the harness by pulling on the straps, you have to pull on the chest clip to loosen the straps. The idea is that it further decreases the forces on the chest.

But like others have said, the fit to kid, install in vehicle, height, and weight limits, are all the same. The only exception being that the advocate is much wider than the other models.
