Get a new seat or turn her FF?

As I have been researching seat options for my DD (recently 3 years old) for my Mom's mini, I have become more and more frustrated with my RXT. I HATE the harness adjuster when the seat is RF, but don't mind it at all when it is FF. Since I need to buy a new seat anyway (to put in my Mom's car, if I can ever decide on one), I am now wondering if I should get something different to keep her RF in our car and put the RXT in my Mom's car FF, or just flip the RXT in our car and get something inexpensive for the Mini.

Top of my requirement list for a RF seat is a smooth harness adjuster, second is some sort of SIP (deep sides or some headwings). Baby brother is in a CCO and that thing adjusts like a dream. Why isn't there a large sized CCO? Whatever I get for her can be passed to brother eventually if she gets a new R seat.

My DD is 30lbs, 14" from bum so shoulder, 22" from bum to top of head. I drive a 2011 Honda Fit.

Thanks!

Try the Peg Perego convertible :) It's very easy to use, doesn't take up much room, and the harness adjusts like a dream. It's my new favorite seat!

I would definitely put the RXT in your mom's car if you don't like it that much but want to keep her RFing in your car.

Mmm...the Peg sounds nice, but a bit expensive. Not sure if I could justify that price just because I hate the Radian.

I guess my other question is about when to turn her in general, not specifically due to my Radian issue. Since I have a fairly petite girl who seems like she will never outgrow any seat RF, at some point I will be deciding to turn her just "because" or when she turns 4. It it terrible to go FF if the seat isn't outgrown? She is over 3 already, but I am sure I would have lots of guilt if I turned her before 4 just because I was frustrated with her seat. I want her to be RF, but it is very obnoxious right now.
