So what can I put in the 3rd row of the xc90? We have an almost 4 yr old (still in alpha omega convertible for a few more months then looking for a booster probably), almost 2 yr old (FF Radianxtsl) and soon to have a NB (chicco keyfit 30) in the spring. We are looking at the xc90's and I have read that boosters can go in the 3rd row, but then just read that nothing can go in the 3rd row..??!? Can somebody clear this up for me. :-) Thanks!

    Re: XC90

Are there any other vehicles you are considering? The XC90 does not have third row top tethers, so you can't really harness a kid back there. There aren't really any high back boosters I have found that work well with Volvo headrests, in Canada anyway. And I would not be comfortable putting a child of that age in a backless booster. It would likely involve a new seat or two but you could do a three across, not sure that you want to hem yourself in to that full time.
As much as I love my Volvo, when I was in the same position, getting a vehicle to put multiple harnessed children in, we didn't go Volvo again.
Also, have you considered turning your 2 year old back rearfacing?
