I was trying to sell two Radians, and my chiropractor had expressed an interest in one. I was planning on buying some hand-me-down snow gear from her for my two youngest kids, so I figured maybe we could just swap.
Then she said that one of the midwives she works with might want the other seat for her grandson.
So I took both seats over to their office today. The other midwife who works there (not the one who wanted the seat for her grandson) walked out, saw the seats, and said, "OMG, what are you doing with those? I want one!" She and the chiro talked and determined that the first midwife would be fine with the second one buying one, so awesome! I sold one seat and traded the other for much-needed snow pants, coats, and boots.
Then this woman came in with her newborn and two other kids and started asking about the seats. She said, "I love how narrow it is. I have a Coccoro now--" and I think I interrupted her with a squeal. We talked a little more and she said something about having three Coccoros. I said, "Wait, you have THREE? In your car? Right now?" So I asked if I could take a picture because I've never encountered three Coccoros (or any, for that matter) in the wild. LOL
Then we were talking some more with my chiro, who's from Canada, about lugging kids around in cold weather. The other woman said something about taking kids' coats off in the car, and my chiro said, "Yeah, but most people don't." The other woman said, "But you're not supposed to leave them on! That's dangerous!"
Too bad we're moving--this woman would probably be my new best friend
