Hi all,
I'm unexpectedly in the market for a new car and new seats after an accident last week (no one hurt, but car couldn't be driven away from the scene). Insurance will cover new seats comparable to our old ones (2 Britax Marathons). I'd like to get a combination seat (instead of a convertible), since my twins are 2.5 years, and ~30 lbs, tall and skinny - so we could use them now and also for the next step. (They've been FFing for about a month, based on height)
I've loved my Subaru Legacy, and am considering a Subaru Forester. But I hear that the back seat is pretty cramped.
Has anyone had good luck with a particular combination seat in a Subaru Forester? We'll be buying used, so I don't know what model year (but I've heard the newer ones are wider). They'll be installed outboard, since there are two. Ideally we could fit an adult passenger in between the them. As for driver's side, my husband is 5'8", I'm 5'7".
Thanks in advance!
