    Airbag locations?

Is there a website where I can find out where my vehicles airbags extend to? I found this one for DH's truck, but I cant find anything similar for my car.

    Re: Airbag locations?

You might find a photo or crash test video for the Impala showing the deployed side curtain airbags at the IIHS site's crash test section and/or on NHTSA's site. Here's the IIHS link for Impala model crash test scores: http://www.iihs.org/ratings/ratingsbyseries.aspx?id=348 NHTSA also could potentially have a crash test photo/video on their site at http://www.safercar.gov/Vehicle+Shop...Newer+Vehicles if you look up your car there. Hope this helps.

    Re: Airbag locations?

    Nothing.

The only airbag shown is the one located in the steering wheel. If you look at other vehicles alot of them have several air bag/crash test photos.

    Re: Airbag locations?

I have that in my manual I was looking for IRL pics to kid of have a more detailed picture. I "know" they are there just wanted to see how far and wide they extend.

Kind of off topic but how would I know if our carseats would be in the way of the airbags?? I have a three across so I use all the seat space I can. Nothing is touching the doors but its close.

    Here's a 2012

And testing for 2006-2010, I don't think this is a newer body style though

Based on those two, I think it's safe to assume your 2011 would deploy to slightly below the bottom of the rear windows.

Thank you!! Those videos were extremely helpful to me! I believe the body style is the same from '06-'13. I know for sure there is a new body style for 2014.
