2-seater sportscars

Hi folks-

I'm curious at what age you would consider a child safe to ride in a 2-seater sportscar regularly.

I would like to buy a sportscar in several more years, but as it would be my daily car, I'll wait until DS is old enough to ride safely in it.

At what age would you be okay with it?

As long as it had a keyed airbag switch, and the car seat is installed correctly, I think it's safe.

I would be ok with it as long as there is no airbag (or a keyed one turned off). Otherwise if airbags can't be disabled, I would wait until pre-teen/teenager years.

As long as he's in the appropriate, correctly installed restraint, he's fine at any age. As long as the airbag can be disabled with a key. I wouldn't trust a weight sensor.
