Gah! There is a new 2nd hand store in the area who posted a pic for a custom seat cover they are selling on their FB page. I posted about how those products are dangerous and why but I was attacked by multiple people then the store responded asking why there wasn't a recall on them if they are so dangerous. I told them it was because they are mostly made by WAHM and therefore aren't regulated. I also said you wouldn't find them at major retailers either but they (the store) still didn't believe me. I tried a google search to find actual articles or something regarding the safety issue but came up empty handed.
Does anyone have any info I can forward on to this store? They are also the only ones locally who sell used seats. I pointed out the danger of that and that all the "other" 2nd hand stores refuse to take them because of the liability.
