Question MA70 vs. Radian 80SL

So I have been wanting to get a Radian to RF my DD who is 3.9 years and does not like FF. She still fits in our MA70 by height, but her legs are tight. She does not seem bothered by this, but it makes it tough to get her in and out and buckled as her legs are so folded up. We borrowed a RA XTSL and although it was a PITB to install it really gave my DD much more leg room. So I belong to a private local car seat group on FB and a lady would like to trade my MA70 for a Radian 80SL, but after seeing the crash tests with no head wings I am wondering if I am going to regret getting rid of my nice, easy to install MA70.

The case for the Radian is it for sure is easier to ERF my preschooler in, much more leg room. It would also be nice if I need to do a 3 across in a car ever. Even with head wings our van does have side air bags and I am buying it to RF, so that of course is safe with or without head wings. If I chose to FF her in the Radian i could slide the captains chair to the middle or put her in the middle of our car with no side air bags or the other cars she rides in do have side air bags.

Case for the MA70, I love that seat, crazy easy to install, nice safe side wings, my DD likes it even squished.

What to do?! Opinions? Would you give up the MA70?

PS, we have a Prosport waiting in the wings for FF when DD decides she wants to FF, so I'm thinking when DD goes FF the MA70 or Radian will be back up seats, we pretty much only use our van to transport kids.

I personally like the Radian better. Its so much easier when they can climb in themselves.

Do you think the 80 SL is as safe as the MA70, those crash tests videos are bugging me. We do have side air bags and it will be used primarily as a RF seat.

I do. My DS rf out board in a r120(same as the 80sl) without side airbags. I haven't thought twice about it.

I've been dreaming of that exact trade for months! I've got a cow MA70, but would much much rather have a radian - headwings or no headwings!
