LeapPad 2?

I just got notification that I won a LeapPad2 from a contest I entered! I'm pretty clueless about it, though. DS is 2. Will he be able to use it? What should I get before we give it to him?

I just registered my sons. If you register it by Monday, you get 2 free apps, so 7 total. If you google, there are 2 more free app codes out there. That should be enough to get him started!! Took a good hour to download everything.

Bummer, I haven't received it yet. Hopefully around the holidays there will be more codes like that!

DD2 got her leappad last year at 2 years 3 months and she did great with it! She needed a little help with a few things but after a few weeks she was able to operate it 100% by herself.

I know some of the updates are pretty nice. Enjoy!
